Dr. Elaine Mateo is board certified in both adult and child psychiatry. Dr. Mateo’s expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders, plus the identification and management of crisis situations. Her specialty is addressing the interface between psychiatric and medical conditions, particularly for children and adolescents. She helps patients understand how the stresses of psychiatric and medical disorders can impact behavior and emotions.
